Lamborghini Huracan STO exhaust by VB
STO exhaust technical specifications
- 14.2 lbs (6.46kg)
- Titanium Grade 2

Weighing an impressive total of just 14.2 lbs (6.46 Kg), the result is the state-of-the-art first hybrid Inconel-titanium exhaust ever for a V10 engine. The exhaust is entirely crafted in titanium when the bellows are made of Inconel. The physical limitation to weld titanium with Inconel has resulted in a revolutionary linking design with two titanium billet-cut links on each pipe. Last but not least, our in-house design with two separated banks is maintained for power and torque optimization.
We also introduce for the first time ever gas flows optimization tail pipes with a design based on latest jet engines technology such as the Rolls-Royce Trent engines of the 787 Dreamliner.
As usual with VB, our STO exhaust will be produced in only 40 units worldwide. In addition, a distinctive Valentino’s signature edition of 20 units will be made which will include the name of the owner and some one-off details for our close friends and best customers.
The STO exhaust is proudly made in Italy and it is delivered in a highly exclusive flight case.
Valentino says: “Our new VB exhaust is the best system that can possibly be manufactured for the amazing Huracan STO. It fully enhances the racing DNA of the STO. And it is also our first VB for a V10 engine. I will not hide that this exhaust has been the most challenging and fascinating one so far to design. Due to an intended extensive racing use and the extremely limited volume available at the back of the STO. As usual with VB, a special focus has been reserved on setting free the melodies of the V10 engine, with no sound artifacts. It’s all about the purity of sound.”

Valentino Balboni
V alentino Balboni was born on May 13, 1949 in Casumaro, Italy, less than 7 miles from Ferruccio Lamborghini's birthplace. He is the former chief test driver of Automobili Lamborghini SpA. Serving the company for over 40 years, he is regarded as one of the best Lamborghini's experts in the world.
How Valentino got hired by Lamborghini is a story that involves his parish priest Alfredo Pizzi, who one day accompanied him and other boys playing football in the pitch of the oratorio in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Arriving near the Lamborghini factory, Valentino began to observe a car transporter truck unloading some of the Miura bodies from the Bertone atelier. After asking the priest to stay there a bit more, Valentino got acquainted with a worker and the porter of the plant. He intrigued them with his passion for cars and so they advised him to apply for a job at the company. One week later he was hired as a teenager by the founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini.
After starting as a mechanic apprentice, he was eventually asked to test-drive the newly built cars alongside Bob Wallace.
